Ricky Tims "The Quilt Show"

It looks like there are 13 episodes or that is what I remember from reading the FAQ's. You only get to see the shows if you join. Membership is currently 16.95 and you can view all of segment 1 episodes until December 2008 but only segment 1 if you don't join for the segment

2 episodes. If you jo> Hhmmmm - did I miss something along the way?

I know UK videos are different to US ones, so these wouldn't work here. Are Australian Video players compatible?

These are digital files, not physical DVDs or Video tapes. They should run on your computer. Carole has tried one. Maybe she can post here about the results.

Most newer DVD/video players now have a code that unlocks them to play any zone discs/videos. Of course getting the code out of the manufacturer can be a bit difficult! I just bought an LG DVD/video unit and couldn't find the code on the web site. So I rang the local retailer and they dug it up for me and rang me back with full instructions. It now plays whatever I throw at it. I have DVDs from three different zones here.

NB - "zone" is not the country code you set on the player during normal setup. "Zone" relates to why US DVDs won't play on UK/Aust'n DVD players that have not been "unlocked".

The Simply Quilts episodes available through Amazon are ones that you download onto your computer so DVD players aren't an issue.

However.....under "usage" it says "US customers only" so that is.

Yes, I have downloaded an episode from Amazon and made an attempt to watch. Never having seen Alex I thought she would be worth $1.99. ;o) I have not viewed the episode in its entirety as it is driving me nuts. I assume that it is stream video and therefore does not play well on my PC. It is very choppy image wise. The mouth is not in synch with the voice or the action. IOW, The audio works great but the imaging is not in synch. I want to talk to my DH who is a computer geek (I say that lovingly) to see if it is something that I am doing wrong. Perhaps someone has had a better experience. BTW, you must download their software to view the episodes. Unless they improve the quality of their stream video, I will unfortunately never have experienced Simply Quilts. Bummer!

You can go to Alex Anderson's website and see shows there. She has a wonderful web site, full of everything we love. My day doesn't start until

9:00 - after Simply Quilts at 8:30. LOL
