Sale on Lazy Girl Design patterns? Where???

I make a sleeve for the Bag-e-bottoms. I like the sleeve because it covers the seam at the bottom of the bag. Even though there are no raw edges, I still think it looks better with the seam covered. Then you can stick anything you want in the sleeve - cardboard, Timtex, plastic canvas, etc., etc. The acrylic Bag-e-bottoms slide out when you want to wash your bag.

Yes, Ragmop, I have your address! However, I hate to tell you that you're way down on the list! After I get these Lazy Girls done, I must start the graduation quilt for the DGD that is graduating, we hope, from TxSU in December. It all hangs on whether she passes a Spanish test next Monday.

She picked out the fabric for her quilt - Amy Butler design - that I don't even like. Don't like the colors. Glad it's her that will have to sleep with this quilt and not me! If she doesn't graduate in December, then it will be spring.

We'll be near that college soon (quick trip to Austin); no plans to see our TxSU student but it could happen.

Ragmop! Aren't those 'bags' that the gal on Amy Butlers site a little TOO BIG to carry? I didn't see any purse straps or handles on them ...she just had the smallest under her arm. how can you go fabric shopping if you have to lug that around? Or is that a guarantee that you won't get 'run over' by other shoppers at a Quilt Show? HHMmmmmmmmm, maybe I should get one for my back and both sides so my feetz don't get stepped on.

Butterfly (nah, I won't be able to get any hugs from other RCTQ'ers if I had

3 of those)

At a quilt show, what bag is too big? The damn' wheelies bags are a nuisance but just about anything else would work (you did have your son along! he's a great carrier ). The Really Big Quilt Show in Houston has "bag check" so you can shop, check in the new goodies, shop, check, shop some more, then have your O.P.WL. (Own Personal WeightLifter) carry things out to the moving van at the end of the day. [They don't accept tired ol' people at the "bag check"; someone already asked.]

These bags, tho', are kinda' cute, w/ cute names

One thing wrong with this barter/beg with Donna - what's Donna gonna get if Ragmop gets a bag?

i made several of these for stocking stuffers. then went on to expand the pattern to make a cosmetic bag and a jewelry bag for when i travel. just love the way you can co-ordinate the fabric to suit the person or use of the bag. amy
