Well, now you've gone and done it. My melanoma scar looks like a sewing seam - you can see the cross hatch of stitches very clearly. But it is too soon to get a tattoo over it. Last Nov I got a Celtic tattoo done on my right inner forearm, which is the underside of the scar [now both inner forearms have a Celtic piece].
I liked that simple one with a piece of thread and needle..... wouldn't that look cool just off my scar!

Not a fan of tatoos, but I like those better than any I've seen! I'm unfortunately distorted enough already. I've had so many surgeries my belly button is now on my right side. Heck, I almost *am* a quilt already. Maybe all I need is a colorway. :-)

LOL. Thanks, Sherry. Polly

Ginger, I love the idea of turning your scar into a needle and thread. I liked that simple one, too. My dr. has ordered me never to have a tattoo while I'm immuno-suppressed or I'd be seriously considering on. I have always wanted a tattoo. Weird, huh? I loved my uncle's big blue tattoo of an anchor with "Mom" on it. Ah well, I really think in a past life I was a ruthless, cut-throat pirate who had tattoos and many piercings and was mean and horrible and wore flashing silks from China and linen shirts from India while forcing innocents to walk the plank. It would explain a lot about me now. ;)
