So Lucky

I've been working on a large floral quilt for my son to donate to an auction in April. His MBA class at Penn State holds the auction each year as part of "THON" which benefits children with cancer. Today I was all ready to make the binding and sew it on. Wouldn't you know it? I didn't have enough of the fabric that I wanted to use!!! So, my DH and I ventured out on the frozen roads to go to JoAnn's. Of course, the fabric I wanted was gone. I "settled" for something else close, but it really didn't make me happy. As I was leaving the store, I spied the remnant bin......YES.!....there was a

22" piece of the fabric in it. Just what I needed, and half price too! Whoopee!!! Sometimes things just go right!!

And, although I live in Berks County, PA, I'm not one of those poor people who are still stuck in their cars in a 50-mile backup on Interstate 78.... after more than 24 hours. I just heard they've called in the National Guard to help them!
