I wish all of you could actually see this quilt. The picture does not begin to do it justice. The creek looks white in the picture, but it's actually a very muted beautiful green. Sandy quilted ripples into the creek. There are foundation paper pieced turtles; frogs all over the place; butterflies and dragonflies flitting around; appliqued blocks, pieced blocks and all kinds of fabric squares that sets off the other blocks. The backing is a green that looks like moss you would find on a creek bank.
