Susan, Roberta, et al: Thanks for all your kind comments about the batiks done by our Tanzanian grandmas. I've just begun selling their stuff (with all money going back to them, of course) and got a further boost from a mention in a quilting newsletter. Have emailed to the "bibis" (grandmas) that they'd better send more fabric back with my husband when he's in Africa later this month, because it's starting to fly our of my workroom! Of course, now I can feel less guilty by getting rid of it faster than I can use it up myself - and it's helping the bibis more! Pat has kindly offered to donate her quilts to our orphans. We need bunkbed-size, lightweight covers for the beds in our Bibi Jann House for homeless AIDS orphans and the grandmas raising them. Any help appreciated! Several of you are passing on info about us to quilting groups and churches. If it helps, I can email you a handy info sheet about our program - you can print it out on both sides. Also have a fabric price/ info sheet I can send to anyone who wants it. Go to
Thanks from Bibi Jann
Howdy!
I'd like that info sheet, please, Jann. Am very interested in this fabric, and in your project.
Thanks for all you do.

Just a query for you Jann.....do you post outside the USA? If you do I'd love to have a copy of the info sheet and also more info on the fabrics.
Kind regards
I would also like the fact sheet and more info about the fabric.

These batiks are gorgeous! Loving the red one with the hands on it. I would definitely be interested in buying some if you can ship to the UK. Stash building and helping out a worthy cause at the same time - perfect combination!! Morag
I loved seeing your web site. I would like to have a fact sheet and wonder if you ship here to the UK.
and for future planning for help and for an occasion to celebrate (att fira) Jann
since she is not in rctq of last year, i thought this might be helpful as a memorable reason to contribute to her program.
