Sara Nephew's book "Big Book of Building Block Quilts" has lots more 3-D effect patterns. I have the book and the ruler but haven't gotten around to making one of the quilts. While googling to find the book, I found this free pattern from Sara Nephew . This is one I think I'm going to try soon with some of my scraps. It looks pretty easy.

Gosh, Jerry, all I can say is WOW!! Those are beautiful. I want to tackle the Tumbling Blocks pattern but haven't gotten up the courage yet. : > )

Wow! Wow! Wow! Are you sure you aren't a "ringer"? Your "beginner" quilts are quite impressive. Number 2 is a show stopper - IMNSHO!
The men that have recently joined RCTQ are definitely high achievers! Can't wait to see what's next on the agenda!
