Today on the TV are all the news programs and movies about when the US was attacked on 9 -11-01. I watch these and feel the same shock and pain that I felt 11 years ago. And then I feel the anger! Barbara in SC
Thank you all for remembering. We had local 9/11 memorial services here yesterday. Maybe I'm strange but I was somewhat disappointed that they were not held today. Although there are others that are being held somewhat locally today. DH is a volunteer firefighter as well as EMT. Our local fire company was on the periphery of being called into NYC that day. Our volunteer rescue squad was staged nearby. While we were fortunate to not know anyone personally that was lost that day, our hearts and prayers are with those that did. I, too, remember watching news broadcasts that day and being astounded at what was happening. As well as seeing the smoke and smelling the burning debris as far away as we are. Let us all remember how caring and generous we all were immediately following that horrible day and try to be that way each day forward.

My thoughts are out there as well. I don=B4t think anyone will ever (and certainly SHOULD NEVER) forget. I pray it never happens again in any way, shape or form. NOWHERE.
