Sigh, One day maybe I'll be that clever! Top job!

Thanks, Fay. But I'm not clever. I started making 4 blocks but ran out of the marbled fabric and this is what the pattern called out to me.

That's lovely Mary - really, really chilly! Those wonderful points make it as crackly as ice. . In message , maryd writes

Oh my goodness, Mary. If I had stitched that, I would have such a swelled head that no hat would ever fit. I am just so proud of you. Polly

Your snowflake is beautiful, Mary! I haven't even started mine yet. I really like the arrangement!

Terrific! I'm so anxious to get started on mine, but I'm waiting on two pieces of white fabric to arrive so that I can choose which one I want to cut my snowflake pieces from! My background pieces are all cut. ( I LOVE your background fabric, by the way!) I have my layout all figured out and it's going to be a table topper for my dining table.

Wow, that's gorgeous!

Thanks, Pat. Points are so much easier with paper piecing. :)

I'm just a little pleased. It's still tacked on the living room wall for all to see.

Thanks, Nancy. After the 12 inch block, it took me nearly a week to complete working on it a little each evening after work.

Not sure if I will use mine as a table topper on a square coffee table or put a sleeve for a wall hanging. For now it will stay as it is. I have to get busy and complete another challenge and make Christmas presents.
