TOTALLY OT: Dancing horse

This is so amazing. It's a freestyle dressage competition from the World Equestrian Games last year and this young man and his 9 year old mare absolutely swept everyone away. Incredible...

Beautiful, Debi. I just wanted to fling my arms round that lovely horse. She was really concentrating, wasn't she. I haven't seen such wonderful single step leg changes. Thanks for sharing. . In message , Debi Matlack writes

My goodness! I'm totally blown away. Was that mare having a good time dancing, or what? She's a real beauty!

That's what was so cool about that video to me... that mare had great rhythm! She was having a blast! And at 9 years old, that's pretty young for an upper level dressage or eventing horse, really remarkable.

My niece was on the 1996 US Equestrian Team in Atlanta (took home the Silver Medal!). I know she tells me about dressage all the time but I had no idea! She does very well in the cross country events. I replay that dancing horse video almost as much as the dancing dog! What wonderful critters they are!
