Congratulations, something must be in the air out there as my oldest nephew whose 46 is also getting married for the first time this fall. The air in Seattle must be making the couples decide it's time to marry. LOL That's who is getting the pineapple afghan that I'm making.

Now you are putting first things first -- I had better stop wishing them kids before they even get down the aisle and think about whether there is something nice I could manage to make them for a shower or wedding present. We have an aran style afghan that my mom made that we have used a lot - it is bigger than usual which the guys like. (DH tends to sleep through the TV news while wrapped in it on the couch) That may be a good choice.

I don't know if there is something in the air here - besides the rain of course - but I am pleased that my son has managed to get the ring on her finger. She is really a very talented, level headed young woman and I think they make a great couple. He is very creative and a little shy around the edges - so they comlement each other well.
