Tutorial

As many of you know, my DT lives abroad, so she can't pop over on a regular basis when we're discussing something and she needs a little demonstration. She has a wonderful quilt group where she lives, but not everyone does things the same way. The other day on Skype, we were talking about thread breaking and knotting it off to begin again, and the subject came up of how to handle threads that were too short to knot around our fingers. To help her out, I posted a little tutorial on my blog, and I thought a few of the quilters here might like it, too -- though I suspect many of us use this same method.

If you'd like to see it, it's at . I hope it helps someone. :)

Right, Roberta! I did know that, but I haven't used it in so long that I'd forgotten. Thanks for reminding me. :)

It's the method I learned on here years ago, and always use. I have passed it on to numerous quilting colleagues - it's wonderful. . In message , Sandy writes
