For those of you who may remember:
Back in March or so I posted a cry for help because an applique project was really getting to me.
Well, thanks to all your help and a little bit of teeth gnashing, trembling hands and a whole lot of endurance/persistence, I am getting the project done.
I thought perhaps you might be interested in seeing my progress.

How perfect for a little girl. Well done indeed for persevering. I have a good deal of appliqué in my list for the next few months. I hope mine will look half as good. I love the possibilities with appliqué . This is going to look so lovely when you have finished - fun, too! .

Oh, oh, oh.....! How I would love to get my hands on that. I love it. I've been doing a quilt to send to the military hospital in Germany and a stack of diapers. They are nice but I reckon appliqué, especially a baby girl quilt, is just my first love. Thank you for sharing with us, Claudia. Your stitching is adorable. Polly
