Using "favorite" fabric

BTW if you could use tips on getting as many blocks out of the yardage and not wasting much of it you will have to ask my mom. I gave her 2 yards of fancy fabric and she has made 17 12" finished size applique blocks out of the first yard using it as her focus fabric. Her scraps are lint. Debra in VA See my quilts at

You are SO right, Debra. I can't wait!! It's my favorite dog print. I've never used this particular online store before, or even heard of them, so I'll just cross my fingers that they're as great as the others that I use all the time.

You're mom sounds like Wonder Woman! WOW! If I were making blocks out of it, I would definitely take you up on your offer. I'm going to file that little gem of info away for "future refeence". Thanks, though!

Why do you all have to rub the 'hurt' in!!! Here we pay about double the $ price, so thats about $19 a yard here.

We can't get anything at all as low as $9.50 a yard!
