Noah's ark fabric

When DD was preggers (4 years ago now), she decided she would do the kids room in Noah's Ark fabric. Except for a Debbie Mumm fabric that was pretty drab, all I could find was stuff at WalMart. And I am here to tell you that I looked everywhere -- ALL the regular fabric stores plus the LQS!!! Now, this stuff at Wally World was REALLY cute so I bought a bunch of it. It came with either a pale blue background or a yellow one and DD chose the yellow. There were at least three coordinating prints, a pre-quited panel and even polar fleece too! Needless to say, I bought some of each. Anywhoooo -- I was recently looking for baby fabric (for my DN) at Wally World and saw the same fabric still in stock along with several of the coordinating fabrics. I'm not sure what all I have left in my stash because I made all sorts of layette things plus a quilt and a window topper and cushions for the seat and back of the rocking chair. If you can't find anything in the stores, let me know and I will be happy to check out my stash and see what I have left. We will be redoing the SMDGD's bedroom this Christmas in the ubiquitous Disney Princess fabrics so I won't be needing much of the Noah's Ark stuff again!! CiaoMeow >^;;^<

There are 11 pages of assorted Noah's Ark fabrics.

I inherited a LQS bundle of Debbie Mumm Noah's Ark fabric from my sister, that she bought about 5 years ago (so now obselete). It was 6 fat quarters, one was a small panel, one a co-ordinating print of the animals and the other 4 were just complimentary fqs - a red/green/yellow and a stripey one with all 3 colours. The main panel has a blue background (sea). They were folded in a pretty bundle tied up with ribbon - looked really tempting, I could see why she bought it.

Last week I was lucky enough to find a bag of 'suitable for patchwork' fabric at a sales table at a meeting I went to, and there was a Debbie Mumm fabric that will do the borders perfectly - couldn't have chosen better from a shop. It had been a 1.1/2 yard piece but had lost half lengthways, but plenty for borders. So that is a next years project.

If you find the quiltshops site, you can spend hours looking!!

Thanks to all of you, I had used another search engine for fabric and didn't turn up but the ones I told you about in the first post. Now when this pain settles down today I will go shopping for Noah fabric for my friend. I checked out a few of the sites and found some that I really liked, but you know I have to check them all out before I decide to buy.
