Once upon a time when dinosaurs still roamed the streets of San Diego, I went to San Diego State and met a young man my first semester in a Business Law class. We started dating for the year. That summer he went to Europe with his family and I was set up on a blind date by one of my father's customers. Found I liked blind date a WHOLE lot more than BF, so in fall when we went back to school, the relationship did not. He had a hard time with the break up and would hang out at the sorority house where I lived. Sisters told him I wasn't home, he would sit for ever in the dining room talking to all who would listen while I was upstairs doing my thing. By my junior year, he ran into me on campus and he was getting married-- out of my hair, right? Wrong. He and wifey moved into an apartment about 30 miles from his office and the apartment was around the corner from my parents. He would drop by while I was home on school break. At some point he finally disappeared never to be heard from again. I eventually got married, moved all over the place had 2 kids and moved into the house that I moved out of in Dec. After divorce, was at temple one day and ran into the brother of the man. Man now has some idea what area I live, Oh well. Right after I moved, my kids got me to join facebook. Man and I met up on facebook after 35 years. Man and I met down at the harbor yesterday. Nice to see him, absolutely no chemistry on my part! Too bad-- if I was a gold digger, he would be good to have around, family has owned Mc Donald's stores since the chain began!
Well, I am still single, am staying single, going to school and rewarding myself for getting my homework finished by allowing my self to work on my niece's graduation quilt-- guess this really isn't totally off topic.
