This link was found in a message from Yahoo's Quilteach list. I haven't watched them (yet!) but the series is highly recommended.

I got lost for a while on that sight looking at videos of quilt shows under "inspirations". The Houston one is really good! Thanks for the link.

I'm sure every old timer will pick at these lessons like I did. A paper towel? Blasphemy! etc., etc., But it's really good stuff.

The whole site looks good; so many sewing and quilting videos gathered in one place -- how have I missed this before? Thanks!

Thanks!

On the right hand side of that webpage there is a link, "Machine Quilting (11)", which leads to:

Not quite half way down on that page, you will find an interesting video on pressure settings for machine quilting, "Sewing Machine Tongue Twister :)".

That's a good one! It is a clear and systematic articulation of what we've all noticed about different battings needing different settings -- the key is in the pressure. I loved that thing she did just using her finger to show how much pucker is affected by pressure.

A picture worth a thousand words, indeed!
