Someone here suggested that news.individual.net would be what I needed to read this newsgroup. I'd been having severe pains and trauma with the old one . . . and then the cable folks declared that they made no profit in providing newsgroups and abandoned me. My neighbor who speaks fluent 'computer' came to my rescue and I'd saved my note to try the individual thing. Hot dog! It is set up just like the other one was, nothing to learn, nothing to cuss or kill; and I might add, quite a few posts that the old one apparently ignored or tossed aside. Even my 'blocked senders' list followed along nicely. So - to the dear heart who took the time to point the way for me - thank you so very much. Polly
