WHAT DID I DO!

That looks like a great, easy pattern! I can't wait to try it.

First, I'd get rid of the (ick) pppoinsetta print. I've never liked those things and never will. That leaves 40 fantastic fabrics to play with. Yipee! I'd put all the fruits, veggies, etc. into one pile for a jar quilt. See if any of the prints will work for various applique purposes and put them with my applique stash. Any cute bright novelty prints go in the brick quilt stash. As for the rest, maybe make some of those wonky stack and slash star blocks. Debra in VA See my quilts at

Funny how that pointsettia just jumps right out attcha, LOL. I thought of tossing it, but then thought I could cut it up for the red. As long as the pieces were smallish you can't tell what they are.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. With all this fabric, I should be able to make a couple of things and use some for some B-day squishies.

Boca Jan, your quilts are really something. I especially like "Noah". Did you have a kit or better yet, how did you do that?

That was just a panel. My gf's DD is expecting and decorated her baby boy to be (already named Noah) like Noah's Ark. She painted murals on the wall of Noah's Ark and I was inspired to make this quilt.

great idea! quick and easy, my sort of project. I am bogged down with my Dresden Plate quilt and have to do some quick and fun things in between for relaxation.
