Where I've been...and thanks for askin'!

Around. At work. Quilting. Not quilting. Chatting with friends. Taking care of family. Working. Writing more papers (graduating has not cured me of the habit). Not finding any cowboys, although I can sense one is close!

And finding time to read this newsgroup every couple of weeks, but not finding time to post very much...mostly because I am trying to not be on the computer at night after work...as I am on one all the livelong day.

There are so many new people here, yet still lots of old friends Whatcha all doing? Hmmm? I've read about the illnesses and the wellnesses, and I know you are still committed to "hugging" as many folks as you can. Such a generous group!

So what is the most fabulous quilt y'all have been workin on recently?????

And WHO has found me a cowboy? Name and e-mail address please! (Or, if he's off in the desert with a horse with no name...the nearest snail mail post office box will do!)

Cheers,

Lynne in Toronto Queen of the Cowboys

Nice to hear from you Lynne. I just spent a couple of days up in my high desert. Ever since Roy Rogers died and the museum moved the cowboys there have been slim pickens. (since I'm an old married woman that is a good thing for me and DH!) Taria

Taria,

It moved? Out of Apple Valley? When?

Where'd Trigger and Silver go? I always wanted to get out there to see 'em ... having seen Misty in the Myst Museum in Chincoteague, I felt obligated to go see Trigger and Silver ....

It really is neat, isn't it, Ragmop? My husband is a big and I do mean big, Western movie fan--he has a file in his Pocket PC of all his western movies!! He loves Gabby Hayes and he is on the piece that I got at a quilt show a few months ago. Now to decide what pattern to use to make something for him!!
