Where's everyone??

It's very quiet here. Is every body quilting?? I needs some inspiration. Depression is setting in :-(

I finished my church quilts yesterday and handed them over. This morning I was vacuuming leaves in my front yard until my allergies went insane. I took an allergy pill and now about to fall sleep. But here's a message for you to read!

I managed to finish a little UFO this last week (a baby quilt, now put away until it may be needed) and today I ironed & sandwiched a UFO destined for my dad.

Went out today..hit a yard sale on the way and got 5 yards of fabric for $1.00 and a Kenmore 'basic' SM for $15.00. It needs to be cleaned..one owner and she hadn't sewn in quite some time. It's light enuf for Me to lift. I got it for a basic 'back-up' or when SIL comes for a visit.

Lots happening here in Phoenix. A close friend passed away a couple weeks ago. So I am doing some stuff with his wife to help her. She is helping me sort fabrics and such. Got a 10 foot mobile storage unit delivered on Tues. Hired a couple of young men to get everything (except the heavy shelving units full of books and stuff) out, and get the carpet up and out. (Cut around the shelving..... it isn't going anywhere) Once we get that stuff sorted and repacked, the sewing room is next. I have ordered a new sewing table (From Tracey's Tables) and have to have the place to put it. Then my new sewing machine comes home. Once everything is organized a bit better, I will be able to do a lot more. Right now the sewing room is not a great place to be.

And I hope it does cool back down for a while longer....... I am not ready for full summer in April, or even early May!!!

I just got home from the quilt retreat. Got two tops done for the eQuilter 1000 quilt project, plus gave out 5 more 7 FQ kits to fellow retreaters to make up something for that project. Did a 5x7" PAP [Portable Art Project] piece, did more piecing on a houndstooth PP project, and started Celtic Applique piece.

Got there at 7:15AM Fri, doors opened at 8. Sewed until 3PM, went and checked in, came back sewed, had potluck dinner until 10PM, In bed by

11PM, then back up and back to start sewing on Sat at 4:30AM. Sewed until 4PM, went and took a hour nap, came back, had potluck dinner and sewed until 10:30PM, back up and sewing at 4:15AM this morning. Sewed until 12:30PM, then packed the car andf came home.
