Just wanted to do a quick post before the computer gets shut down for the day.........what a lovely lovely quilt! I didn;t see any hot pink polka dots so maybe i looked at the wrong quilt, but the first one is 2008 album is a stunner!

I wish I had too, but our timing has been slightly off lately - what with you being in Texas and then that lovely detour. Heck, we probably could have rented a helicopter for less than it woulld cost to drive that far!
Don't tell Polly, but I did think about keeping it another week to see if we could get together so you could see it, but I don't think her DH would have been too happy with me!

It's absolutely gorgeous!
Polly: I would like red binding with a narrow yellow flat piping. The dimensional flowers would be served nicely by the tiny bit to dimension the piping would add. Subtle but attractive.
Lovely, lovely quilt, Polly Terrific mix of traditional blocks and applique. And yes, kudos to Louise too. The quilting is fantastic. I can see why your DH was so touched. Happy 60th!
