Zig Zag quilt pattern

I was looking at quilters' blogs this morning and found this:

to make a zig-zag quilt without triangles This would be easy and attractive -- a good charity quilt design -- and a good stash-user-upper.

You will end up with all bias edges that way. I'd suggest running a row of machine stitches around the outside just inside of where you plan to cut before cutting.

And probably a good idea to add a plain border cut on the grain of the fabric to help stabilize it before binding.

You could add setting triangles. That would make this a "Zig Zag with Some Triangles (But Only The Easy Kind)."
