If you break it down into a price per sheet cost, it is darn cheap! Comes out to a little more than 7 cents per sheet before tax...I usually pay about .35 per sheet at my LSS, so that is a good deal...but only if you will use the papers, and are happy with the weight, feel and texture and color of the papers. Cathy, this sounds like it might be one of the Slabs from ProvoCraft. I have bought the Slab III and Slab IV for that same price at Michaels. It's a GREAT price for that much paper. Bu as Arleen said, it depends if you like the paper. I recently bought a small kids' slab and my daughter loves the patterns. It's not something I would use much of so I wouldn't buy it in 12x12 for myself.
If it is one of the Provo Craft Slabs, then it is worth buying. There is three sheets of each pattern in the package. The paper is a good quality. There is a picture on the front of the package of all the prints so you can see if they are ones you would use.
Hi Cathy.. welcome and welcome to all the rest of you new people I have not yet said hello to.
Cathy.. you are talking about the Slab. I buy these for my albums, and I love the selection.

I just bought this last night. It is very nice solid color cardstock that matches the colors used in the Slab products. I am probably going to grab another before the sale is over, just can't have too much cardstock ya know.

I bought two Slab IIIs (loved the rich patterns), a mini-slab that matches these and A Slab of cardstock. As others have pointed out, if you like the patterns and see yourself being able to use them - this is an excellent price. I don't scrapbook. I make envelopes and cards as "snail art." The Slab papers are perfect for what I like to do. They even take fountain pen ink well. The in spreads a bit more than it would on normal FP paper, but it doesn't feather or bleed. So... Since I loved the patterns so much and since I'd seen this paper elsewhere (on-line) for over $20, I snagged it while I could.
one thing about it that I prefer over pricier papers you buy by the sheet - nothing printed on the opposite side. No logo, no grid. For someone who does more folding of paper than cutting, this is a very welcome feature. In the middle of an otherwise attractive envelope, it's rather unpleasant to have logo pop up.
Went out to check the sale and yes i love the paper so i bought
2...great bargain and its a start to begin with... I appreciate all the feedback on this.Yeah Cathy. I think you are talking about the Slab. I just bought it myself. I have bought them in the past and they really have nice designs. I found I used it allot.
Cheers! Elaine
