Hey everyone:

I spent the summer doing an internship in Washington, D.C. so I haven't had access to the usenet group forever! I also have not been able to scrapbook forever either.... I have terrible withdrawl. I hope I will have time to read and catch up for the last few months. Hope everyone is doing well.

Best,

Jennifer

Welcome back Jennifer! An internship in D.C.....that sounds interesting. Hope you took lots of pictures to scrap!

Welcome back Jennifer. Hope you enjoyed your internship and your time in Washington D.C.

Hi Jennifer. Welcome back. (I"m a bit of a newbie so don't think we have met so "hi") I use to live outside of Washington DC. I really miss it :( Where was your internship?

Cheers! Elaine

Jennifer Bernste> Hey everyone:

Welcome back Jennifer! Here's hoping you will have time to play with us and maybe scrap a little!

My internship was at the U.S. Department of Labor in the Employment Standards Administration for 10 weeks. I had a really great time, and learned a lot about the way government operates. I was able to sight see a lot too, so I have some great pictures to scrap.

Did you make it to my 2 favorite places? The Viet Nam Memoiral (very moving & simply stunning at night), & the Pavilion at the Old Post Office (bell tower has a much better view of D.C. than the Washington Monument [unless the remodel of the viewing deck of the Monument has improved one's ability to see out]).

But do you miss the summer humidity & the gnats? Which side of the Potomac?
