I just wanted to let you all know I am accessing the group through Google now. It is so rare that I can connect with my isp's news server that there's no more point in even trying. :(
I've missed an awful lot, but I'm trying to catch up....

Rach.....you can access this NG using dp-news.maxwell.syr.edu ...you can read but not post...at least you don't miss anything :o) I answer by hitting Reply, changing the news server from dp-news blah to my isp news server, then replacing the rec.crafts.scrapbooks. It is a bit of a faff around but beats the Google interface.
Thanks, Marilyn! I have read there before but I hated that I couldn't post. Right now, my isp is working. But that is a rare rare thing and they won't help me fix it without redoing my ENTIRE NETWORK and that would be SUCH a pain!
