AD: New Scrapbook Album Design, no posts or straps.

Hello,

I am new to this group, so please forgive this intrusion. I am the husband side of a new home based scrapbook album store called Scrap It Simple.

We are not a big business, and we don't send out spam emails. My job is to try to get the word out about our new product. I'm not sure if you are "Digital Only" Scrappers, so here goes... Scrap It Simple produces a completly new album design called the Scrap Wrap. It is new because it's binding system is based upon VELCRO Brand Hook & Loop fastners. This means that adding or removing pages is as simple as splitting a stack apart, inserting your new page, and then pressing it all back together. No more screws, posts, extenders, or straps.

Also, our protector pages are new as well. They are side loading, but they lock the page in place through a new patent pending recessed insertion slit. You load your pages, and then back them up into the recess. This means that your pages won't pucker anymore, and you will have nice clean edges all around your book. An added benefit is that because of the thickness of the hook and loop strips along the binding strip, your book will not become a fanned out wedge if you use alot of embellishments. The binding is thicker than the page, so your book will lay flatter.

Finally, all of our books are handmade by us, in Spencer, Massachusetts by my wife and her mother. Each book is unique, and there are many different styles of cover designs.

We will be attending a couple of tradeshows in the Spring, so if you are interested in more information, please go to our website, or drop me a line. I would be particularly interested in any criticisms you have about our products, or the website. We really want to make a go at this.

Thanks,

Bob Hinman

Thanks for posting this. Sounds really interesting! Do you have a website or pictures that you can share with us. You can't post pictures directly here, but you could put them up on a free photo gallery such as webshots ot snapfish and then give us the link to look at.

Thanks, M-C

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. We do have a fully functional shopping cart with photos of all the different styles of albums available, plus if you go here:

you can see videos of how easy it is to change pages and load the protector pages. The video isn't the best quality, but it does get the point across. I hope. :-) Our website is:
