Gee, it surprises me that the Xyron adhesive solutions are so popular with many peeps. I have the Cheetah X4, the 510, X150 and the tape runner, also have a whole bank of others, repo, double-sided, magnetic, photo corners, mounting tape. I don't really like any of them...I find most of them lift up again, particularly from the bazzill type cardstock. Is it something I am doing wrong here...as I have spent loads on them and they are all kicking around here. Marilyn

Ok, a lot of you seem to like this Tombow Tape Runner. Why is this so great....price, ease of use, durability? I want a tape runner that is easy to use, doesn't get all "gummed up" and when I tack something down I don't want it lifting (I am a double and triple matter), price does not really matter as long as it works great. Is the Tombow something that I would use? Any opinions would be appreciated.
I use Tombow tape runner, pop dots, wacky tack, gosh i still use it all, I am new to this, but i have been finding new stuff! So this poll is helpful!
Well I was wondering what to bring you when we meet on Saturday... I am busy plotting things on mapquest and will get back to you on where. So I'll bring you a Tombow (permanent) and a refill. You can see for yourself why we like it.

Awww...that is too nice of you. You don't have to do that. Well, get back to me when you know.
For me, I use the Tombow because....it's cheap (refills 2 pack for $2 at Walmart), it works, it's easy to use.

Lets see here..
1: Hermafix Tabs 2: Glue Dots 3: Zig Glue PensI'm still adding every vote to the list. So, far 23 people have participated. Thank you all for chiming in. Let's keep those votes a coming. I couple years ago I did a zodiac poll just for the fun of it on this list and 83 people responded. So, let's keep voting and make this a great resource for the RCS web page.

I use the Duck Easy-stick tape runner (permanent and repositionable) the most, because it's easy to use. Other top favorites are the glue dots- all types- and Aleene's Paper Glaze. It's very versatile. I have a Xyron 500 that I use a lot, but it's not a top favorite. It's great for glueing odd-sized pieces, though. The 150 sounds like it would be worth trying.

Okay, WHAT are you talking about???? You get Tombow refills for $1 each??? I've never seen that. Can you fill me in. I LOVE Tombow.

I went to Walmart yesterday and one refill (and it was a generic of some sort that looked similar but not sure if identical) was around $2.00. No sign of a Tombow at $1 each. :( Must be a regional thing.

I'm not very experienced so you might not want to include what I use. The local SS handed me a box with the little mounting squares on a tape that you pull off, so I've been using that and a glue pen mostly. For some stuff I use a glue stick too.
Yep! At the Super Wal-Mart, (I've seen it at a few now...) you can get the refills for $2 for a 2-pack I usually empty the peg and get 5 or 6 at a time when I see that.

I might have to check into that. Adheisives are so expensive. Seems like I'm always spending 20.00 for refills and they are gone in no time.
I use my glue stick most. I do not always use the same brand though so don't know which stick is best. I also use Pioneer photo corners and GlueDots Brand glue dots, though not nearly as much as my glue stick.
I use the Tombow Mono adhesive as well. I never knew I could get them so cheap at Wally World though! I will have to look. Thanks for the tip.

Sorry If I am a little behind on replying to this poll My favorite adhesives are: Hermafix Dotto Xyron150(Great for Sizzix alphabets and small diecuts) Fiskars Photo stickers ( I buy them at Walmart in Value pak..1000 pieces for a little less than $5) Linda in Illinois
- Creative Memories Photo Splits
- glue dots (mini is preferable as they rub right off in the areas of non-use, so if I'm out of the photo splits or tape runner I can alternatively use these little guys on a runner.) I had one dispenser that was awesome and I've never found that brand again. Every other brand i've tried have had problems but I love'd that initial one and I'm still searching for the right replacement.
