That came out great! I love it! I love the little taxi cabs on top it, to funny. Being a new yorker I can relate, I don't live in the city but I know when we visit that is an icon of the city. LOL!
That is super cute! I never would've thought of doing something like that! Very creative! And I also really like how you incorporated where you're from in you SS gift...great idea!
That box is way cool. I noticed the Radio City Stage Door Tour and was wondering if you ever went on it and how it was. I am taking my niece on Saturday to see the Christmas show and we have the option of buying tickets for the tour. She is 13 and has a short attention span, do you think the tour is interesting enough to keep a tweens attention?
Also I was thinking of taking her to the Top of the Rock, is it worth the money? We have 2.5 hours before and 2.5 hours after the show and we have tickets for lunch at Planet Hollywood (her choice). Just trying to fill up some of the time. I am hoping to take her on a carriage ride while we are there but I am afraid the cost is going to be outrageous the Saturday before Christmas.........
No I don't think she wuld like Top of the Rock, MTV Studios are in Time Square and that might be more her style. the Radio City Stage Door Tour sounds good but I've never been, Larry has and doesn't know if it is interesting enough.
If you go to toys R Us in Times Square there is a whole Bratz/Barbie wing doll house thingy. If you want to save money take a pedi-cab instead of the carriage. It is a cab that is technically a bicycle cart thing.
when are you guys going to be here? never mind, Saturday. Darn I have to work or Larry & I would be great tour guides.
Planet Hollywood is fun but I would have recommended Mars 2112 for some funky fun and good food. Mars waiters are Aliens in full costume.

Have fun, we are supposed to be in the upper 30s AND rainy/overcast with a chance of slush. don't forget to see the tree and some of the windows.
If you need anything I'll give you my numbers by eMail and you can call me.
If you are at Rockefeller Center after dark, make sure you check out the light show on the Saks Fifth Avenue building, it is awesome. It goes off every 15 minutes and worth the wait.
Thanks Kate. I will try and talk her into lunch at Mars 2112 that looks like fun! I don't know about taking a pedi-cab, I think I am way too old to be pedaling anything!
I got over 20 cigar boxes from our hunters one year and I cut pieces of contruction paper, added embellishments in the boxes and brought them to school for the class to make valentine boxes. The kids only needed glue and they had a blast decorating their own boxes.
