How about "the tattler" that's what we called the baby monitor. I could put some pretty funny stories about adults caught saying some pretty funny things not thinking we could hear them in the other room.

For T: Teeth, Tantrum :) Tot Tummy Thermometer Tiny Thumb Tickles/Ticklish Thanksgiving Tigger Two (age) Toes Teddy Bears Tub Time Thirsty Thumb Tired Towel and my favorite... TURTLE :)

For Z: Zipper (that would be neat with an actual zipper! Then they could tuck things inside the last page) Zwieback (as in the toast) Zoo animals Zillions (of reasons I love you, of things we'll do together...)
