Back from Houston NOW!!!

HIYA ALL,

I am back from Houston late last night. Stopped at one more store in Corsicanna Tx on my way home. Big store too. I did notice out of the 5 stores between me and my sis that NO ONE had sizzix dies or machines!!!..... I bought more papers, magazines, raffia type rolls of paper, some diecuts and aome other things. Lady was very excited to have "foreigner per say" in her store. She was asking me for ideas for make and takes. I told her I loved making cards, shaker boxes and tags. They had a lot of things I didn't see in the other stores... She had the most beautiful hadmade papers too!.

But , anyway....back home and ready to email the computer lists to who ever want it.... or the link to the site to download it!...KK!!!! I went thru emails and the newsgroup to get any updates and mistakes I didn't catch! Sorry for those.

The list is missing 2 names because I had NO info from the 2 people...Christina Manning and Dave Rike

Hi ya! Sounds like you had a terrific trip. It is always so much fun to see what other stores carry. Have fun with your goodies.

I haven't seen Christina online for a while now. Her web store has even been down. Christina.... are you out there?

LOL!!! hey glad you had a good trip there Cowchipper!! (still love that name and the SIG!) I hpe MY posts from my week last week and the shopping trips makle it in here too. I had a great shopping time in spite of the actual reason of the trip. It REALLY did help me to cope and focus my thoughts elsewhere!! I really am beginning to understand why WOMEN love to shop or have the 'shop-a-holic' problem more than men!!! It is becoming my vent instead of pigging out on a container of ice cream when I am down, depressed, frustrated, WHATEVER!!! The cure, (if it is?!) is to go shopping for sb stuff, at least it is exercise, but boy the cc's hate it (Err, LOVE it!)!

About my info, I'll email what you need, just holler!! I have really kinda been out ofthe group almost two weeks. So HOLLER!! After all we are in the same necka the woods! If you have it where it can be emailed, I got the other list, the other one someone did (crs again!).

I loved the part of foreigner in a store. I have heard it several times, not only from being out of town, but being a MAN! There was one lss here in OKC that begged me to come to one of their crops, as they have never had a man there!! I may consider it since I am rather ticked at the CM one me and Mariann go to. The consutant is QUITE prejudice to THEIR product. WELL, EXCUSE ME!! I want to do more than see how FAST I can put pix on a page, even though I do not do embellishments.

Hope you're glad to be home after all that shopping. Do you have SBS in your area as well?

I am guessing SBS means scrapbooking stores... we have 2 in Amarillo (1 1/2 hours away) and one small one in Elk City, OK about 45 minutes away. They are small and each store has somethingdifferent so I thought on my way to my sis's I would scan every store from here to there. May take a different route there next time. The biggest ones I have been in so far is "Creative Expressions" in Colorado Springs Colorado and the one in OKC,OK. These were the biggest ones I have seen so far.

We have 3 little ones here. I work at the biggest one. We're actually a yarn/scrapbook/craft store :>)

Between the 3 of us, we all seem to sell different things, with some "staples" in common, but over all, we compliment each other:>)

I used 3 items from your goodie bag today April. They were just what I needed to complete a page that wasn't quite finished:>)
