Backgrounds, downloads

I found this really kool site last night for GREAT downloadable (pay, not free!) pictures that people put on. You can get them for backgrounds pictures to do things with etc.

it is called BLISH.COM

You can also put pictures that you have on the site to SELL. There are a lot of people in here that are very gifted and talented and have GREAT shots of things that could be considered. Just a thought to help out possibly for a little extra?

Oh, yes i bought a few as I was on the hunt for ice, snow and frost type pictures. Not necessarily landscape but pictures of close of of those things to make some backgrounds and frames with.

Does anyone know of or have any sites where they have FREE downloadable pictures, graphics etc of GOOD quality pictures?

TIA, ((HUGS!))

I wanted a photo background for a layout I did. I don't recall if I got it from webshots or one of the other photo hosting services. I downloaded it full size and asked the photographer if I could use it and he said I could use it for whatever I want.

Here is the layout that I did with it

It is the shoreline at Bayhead (it is on the Jersey Shore). I cropped it square and then used Scrapbook Max to do the layout. If you look around webshots and the other free services you might be surprised at what you could find.

What a beautiful LO. The photo background really made the page. I have got to try this. Sandy

Wow that is really beautiful. I recently got someone asking about my Lighthouse photos on webshots. He's a collector of Light houses in the United States and had never heard of the one I had taken pictures of.

I'm glad you all liked it. I have been going to Bayhead every year since I was born and despite having dozens of pictures I had never thought to take one of the shoreline!

If you like lighthouses LBI (where Bayhead is) has a great lighthouse, it is the second tallest in the country and the construction was supervised by General George Meade. We breathe a sigh of relief after every bad storm because it is inevitable that it will tumble into the sea one of these days just like the first one did.

I really like your layout! Love the beach ball and chair and the other items you added on the sand! Really cute!

I used a freebie kit called Lazy Summer by Monica Larsen and did it in Scrapbbok Max. You can use the kit with Lifetimez as well.

TFS and I like it!! I have used "photo like" paper a lot. I like you only use one, maybe two pctures so as not to cover up MUCH of the picture/paper!
