Circle Journal - someone must have

Ok, trying this again. I know some of you are still on here from when we did the cj over two years ago. And I know I have asked if someone has mine, since mine is lost. But what I failed to ask is, did anyone get theirs back and if so, can you email the list of particpants so I can go on a search of my own for it. It really is a treasured book and I am just heartbroken that someone has it and won't return it to me. I would really appriciate it! Please, if anyone can help me, do so.. Thanks so much!

Karissa, yours IS in Australia. I've always said that and the last time (can't even remember how long ago) we heard from Sharon (Shaz) she finally said that yes, she does have it somewhere.

Renee still has mine as well as my traveling ducks. I've asked her a few times (not recently though) to mail everything off to me. Guess I need to try again.

I have a hard time understanding why it was so hard to keep to the commitment that was made for the cjs when everybody signed on to do this. I understand that things happen and stuff comes up. I just don't understand why a person can't just make it a point to get to the PO and be done w/ things once and for all. My ducks have been to over 20 homes. How many lo's do you think I have? Maybe a half dozen. It's discouraging. Good luck getting your journal back. It was one I was looking forward to reading had everyone been able to follow through.

I did get mine back a while ago, sadly it had not gone through very many people. Caitlyn Luther, Karissa Thomas, Parrothead Jenn, Angela from New Zealand, Mel. Patty Hetrick, I never got yours

It is such a shame they did not make the rounds that the people professed they would. I saw two different ones at Katrina's and sabrina's and they were great. They really have that special touch and gives you something to make people real.

It is like wiggles and waddles too. I wondered what happened to thema nd wanted so bad to get them sometime, but again oh well some peoples morale issues or priorities. That s why there is truly so much mistrust anymore.

Good luck in trying to find them and if not maybe rest your thoughts that someone got a pleasure or blessing out of getting to see, knowing or doing something with them.

I had the luck to see about 5 at Tabitha's. They were all awesome and so different one from the other. I don't remember exactly whose they were. I'm sure Tabitha passed them on to someone else.

I'm sorry that your book got lost :( I used to do decos which is the same idea but a lot smaller, and after a few years I gave up because I wasn't getting any return for my efforts - the wretched things go into the mail never to be seen again. Counting all the swaps and trades I did there must have been at least a hundred decos floating around out there supposedly 'for me', and I got less than a dozen back. So, given that learning experience I decided never to do a circle journal because the odds are stacked against you.

oh gee i too would like to see mine come back!!! it's been over two years now since i've seen or heard about these c j 's. shoot i'm gonna have to go look up my list i think i did six or seven and that was it. i was diligent about not keeping them very long at all, and if i recall it had just recieved webster and waddles about the time hurricane charlie rolled close so i sent them off for safe keeping and asked for them to come back after the storm passed and never saw them or heard about them again either. come home journals, i agree enough is enough

I've read about the cj's since I first joined the group a couple of years ago. I think it is such a shame the commitment was not there as the concept behind the journals is so wonderful. Sandy

You know especially with flat rate Priority boxes and envelopes which give you free tracking if you brint the labelsw online, it shouldn't be that hard to put them in a box and mail them off. If anyone has them and is just feeling bad about keeping them so long, just email me for my snail mail address and send them to me. I'll reship them with an anonymous apology note to whomever they belong to. If you do, please make sure that you enclude the list of who they belong to and theur snail and email addresses.

I'll br hsppy to do it if it helps someone get them out of the closet and back in circulation.
