computerized diecut machine

I have been looking at the computerized diecut machines for a while. I love the idea of making my own images and using free downloadable fonts or clip art to cut out instead of buying expensive add-on cartridges. I have saved up enough money to get one, but I am unsure which brand I should buy.

My two top choices are:

The Xyron Wishblade:

or

The Pazzles Creative Cutter Mini:

I like the Xyron because I can get bridge software to use with Adobe Illustrator. Since I am very adept in the Adobe Creative Suite, this is a distinct plus. But I also am inticed by the Pazzles because it can cut plastic (to make stencils) and thicker cardstock (though Xyron claims to be working on a new blade to do those things). Does anyone have either of these systems? Can you give me some suggestions?

Thanks,

Jen

Hello Jen,

I don't have any experience in the computerised cutting system (though I think it would be VERY useful), but, as someone who is also profficient on Adobe products, I would not think that using different system would be a problem. In my experience, once you one know suite of graphics software, everything else is easy enough to learn.
