February 2006 RCS Challenge Question to all

Have you used Crystal Lacquer before? Do you have some in stock? If yes the Feb Challenge is to make a LO one or two pages any size, any topic, using Crystal Lacquer on at least two different elements of your LO.

If you don't... how about staples... have you sued those? If you have both... use lacquer and staples.

I can't wait to see what you pick to do... Have fun with it..

"If you don't... how about staples... have you sued those?"

I didn't know you could sue staples. How much can you get from sueing a staple? *runs and hides*

It depends on the damages...haha!

Hey, I could have sued a staple in High School for minor damages to my index finger. Bwahaha I can laugh now. :)

I used a Fascinator at my card making class last night. Interesting tool, but not one I would use a lot, I think. I haven't tried Crystal lacquer, but I might if I can find some.

I finally bought a flower punch last night! All my punches are minis and I find I need to invest in some bigger ones.

I never do the challenges. I want to say though that I recently dug out my crystal lacquer and used it on a couple of my ATCs. I forgot how much I liked it. Have fun using yours ladies!

Lynne you'd better duck if you don't want to get hit by a woman's size 7 combat boot!!! BTW the Crystal Lacquer is your fault you did such a great job on those recipe pages that I thought for sure those were purchased mushrooms! Made me want to emulate you!

hehe zipping lip... so glad boot is not coming my way. You'll them them to get through all that snow.

I wondered if the Crystal Lacquer and the stapling was my fault this month since I've been totally into them with my lastest projects. Everyone is going to have so much fun if they try them. The look is nice and you feel like you should be published when you see what you can do. teehee

I had to catch up on my humor. It kinda went away a little when the stomach bug came to visit. Crystal laquer is like a clear liquid glue. I use Stampin' Up!'s "Crystal Effects", but I'm sure there's others out there.

Hmmm, well I don't know what Crystal Lacquer is. I guess I'll have to do some research for this one. I've also never used staples on a LO, so looks like either way I'll be trying something new. But not ths weekend, I have a house full of kids with 2 in diapers still. I don't think that is the rght environment for creativity and learning something new.

Linda, I used Crystal Laquer on the blue flower above my hat in the page I did for Jessie's birthday album (Sandy's P1). It is a thick glue like substance that gives a clear dimension to whatever you use it on. You can use several layers if you want to make an item stand out. Sandy
