Fiber Question?

hey Tabitha, i've done all kinds of methods, and found that a different way might work for any different project. if i'm wanting a fiber to lay flat along a piece of paper, i'll usually use a zig glue pen and pray for the best. i've also run pieces through the xyron for this. more often, though, i find myself punching holes along an edge and weaving the fiber through the holes. believe it or not, this method is easier for me than getting it to stick. if there is a way that you can get the fiber to the back of the paper, it's easiest for me to just stick a photo split on it and leave it on the back. when going through eyelets, i'd do the same. just adhere it there wherever you can. the knot would work, but is going to make quite the lump under your page. experimentation has worked best for me overall. good luck!!! lori shay louisville

Tabitha, Lori's fiber pages look really great. I agree with her about just experiment untl you find the way you like best. I think fibers add so much and are fun to 'play' with. Hugs,

with GLUE DOTS --- just stretch it out thinly over the fiber.

I also got the following tip from someone on RCS but I'm not sure who. Sorry I don't know who to credit for this valuable information.

from an earlier post: there's a secret to them! i was constantly fighting with them until someone told me this simple trick. instead of peeling them off the paper with your fingers, just take the piece you want to have the dot on, and stick IT to the dot while it's still on the roll. then you just pull it away, and it's where you want it to be without you ever touching it. i use these things like mad! i have the regular, the mini, and the popup!
