Quiling

Hi Everyone :)

I want to try a new technique this weekend, quiling. I've read in a mag how it works, but I was wondering what kind of glue to use when one adhere's the paper strip? Will normal glue stick do? The article I read, spoke of a "drop of glue" to adhere the paper. Thank you for the help

I use a heavy body white glue, put a dab of it on waxed paper and use a toothpick to apply it to the quilling. Peggy in NJ

ooooh that sounds like a great idea. I just bought a book on quilling and it suggested covering a piece of card board with wax paper and using straight pins stuck into the card board to hold things as you go. This is something I'm going to try this weekend too.

Can you explain this a little more? I'm not sure what you are holding. Do you put the center of the quilled piece through the pin like ring toss style?
