Okay, here's my list. Let's see what I can come up w/.
I've only lived in three states my whole life. Born in Kansas, lived in Cali from a few mos old to three yrs old, back to KS until 18, then to Florida for three yrs and back to KS.
I've had the same job for 14 yrs today. Gads!!! I really need a change. I get deja view of deja view quite often. I can actually remember remembering something happening. Kinda like it's already happened twice. Does that make sense.
My dad had polio when he was 2 and was in a wheelchair his whole life.
I'm very passionate about my 7up collection. I get excited when I stumble across that one item that I don't already have and that I can actually afford to purchase.
I had a paper route from the 5th grade to my soph yr. Walked it 6 days a week through the heat of summer and ice of winter.
I believe in salvation and that there is an afterlife.
I've never had a problem chit chatting w/ strangers that I'll prolly never see again, but when meeting new people/friends I'm quite shy at first.
I'm a Quaker. A member of the Evangelical Friends Church. Present day quakers are called friends. I'm also the church secretary. We're a quite small congregation, but there are several friends churches in my area. I love the desert southwest. It's the most beautiful terrain in the world as far as I'm concerned. I have several cactus around my house and this year I put in a rock garden full of succulents.
I can't wait for spring to arrive each year so that I can get out in my flower beds and hit all the nurseries.
I have a brother whom no one in the family, not even his own 15 yr old daughter, has heard a word from in nearly eight years. I told my mom if anything happens to her I won't be notifying him. We do know how to get ahold of him through an in-law, just don't know exactly where he is. Somewhere in FL.
I believe in angels and that God sends them to us when there's a need. I also believe in the power of prayer. I've seen both in action.
I've worn glasses since I was in the third grade.
I'm the awfullest procrastinator that I know.
I've never been married but did live w/ a guy for six years. I wanted to be married in Vegas and we just never made it out there. He's gone now, but I still want to be married in Vegas someday. I've also been to Vegas twice since splitting up w/ him.
I love to travel by car. Road trips are the best! I've been every where in the lower 48 except the northeast and northwest.
I'm a very oppinionated person and try not to talk politics w/ people even though I enjoy doing it.
I love westerns! I don't care how many times I've seen True Grit or Fistfull of Dollars, I'll watch it again. Don't get any of those singing cowboys near me though. I don't go in for the cheesey ones. Sorry Roy & Gene, you're just not my thing. It's a good thing I don't have the western channel or that's prolly where the tv'd be most times.
I could prolly come up w/ some more stuff but I guess this is enough. I've got a pretty quiet life compared to some but I'm not unhappy.
