gluing metal ?

Last weekend I purchased some small metal plaques ( baby feet and handprints) and a small metal frame. and was wondering would glue dots be strong enough to hold these on a page? or is there a type of metal glue I should be looking out for ?

I use glue dots and they work great. I have found the bigger and heavier the metal item the bigger the glue dot needed. I have 3 different sizes that I use for my scrapping.

Thanks Lynne, it's reassuring to know they aren't likely to fall off.

Then glue dots it is. I have mini, normal size and some pop up glue dots or something like that. Thanks Hannah and Diana for your input

Me four! I only have the mini dots though. I just stick an extra dot if need be...

there is a glue by memory makers specifically for metal. I have it but haven't used it yet.

I had forgotten about the MM Glue. I have a friend that has the Memory Makers metal glue. She really likes it.

Although my local art and craft store has just gotten a new memory makers section for scrapbooking and sell the metal bits like frames, they do not yet sell the metal glue. I will keep an eye out for it but if glue dots work I will use them instead of spending money on something I will only use occasionally. Thanks for letting me know they do sell it though Susan

Thanks for the offer Susan, I will give the glue dots a go tomorrow and see how they go. If they don't work as well as planned I will take you up on your offer :o) Thanks so much

Jules - An FYI I've used the MM metal glue on the buckles for my parents album and was very pleased. It's definitely strong as stated on the tube.
