hammerless setters sound a great idea, but I love beating out the days frustrations with eyelet setting :o)

I haven't used eyelets yet...I have just been using brads. I want to start using them but wasn't sure what is the best thing to use....should I go with one of these?

I have never used one actually. I use the making memories tool kit to set eyelets now. I am looking into the spring loaded ones because I am thinking about carrying them on my website. However, they aren't much cheaper than tool kits so I dunno. I like the regular hammer method just fine, however I found that you can't set eyelets on a plastic table, you need a harder less forgiving surface. But that isn't that big of a deal to me. I think some eyelets are more prone to overpounding however so I was thinking the springy ones might be better for that.

What is the best one to get? I think I'm going to get one now....especially since I can do so much with the eyelets compared to the brads.

the read set one... I designed the one for noxon but they in their infinite wisdom redesigned my design and they don't work right... I had a case of the things and I gave them all away... I hated how they worked... they don't set

3/16 correctly and you can't cut through thick material with the punch....

now....especially

I personally don't care for the noxon one (even though I haven't used it) because you still need more than one tool according to their directions online. The one from readyset is just one tool...so that appeals to me...otherwise whats the difference if you use a hammer or not!

well the problem with the ready set one is you have to keep changing heads and its alot larger than the noxon.. they are smaller than a pencil... and the small heads get lost easily (kinda like the making memories ones)... but again.. they screwed up my design for the noxon... and then said they never spoke with me about it (yeah and those sketches I emailed to a rep and he emailed back to me never existed... UGH).

Paperwishes.com has an eyelet setter for $19.99. I use both the setter and my universal setter with my trusty hammer. Some days you just need to pound! lol

yup, after trying all the different systems (including the home pro thing and two snappers, and two others) I've settled on my good old Making Memories set... always sets perfectly, never has given me one problem and will cut through anything....
