I have been thinking about starting a new project. Since they have cut our hours at work I have been trying to stay productive, but sometimes it is hard with a three-year-old around. Does anyone have any kid friendly spring craft ideas?

Here is an outside one. Have him build a real bird's nest. Collect the grass. Make the mud and pile the different layers with mud and grass. He will have a great time getting very dirty and it won't cost a thing.
Not crafty but how about starting a garden? Kids love to help until they turn around 7.
