I got another one of those cool boxes!

I immediately threw out the AOL garbage, but saved the box. Has anybody done anything with their box yet?

I got one in my mailbox too, and I saved it. At least I think it is the one you are talking about. It is clear-ish, and about the size and shape of a DVD box, witha hinged piece in the middle to hold the CD. I am not sure yet what I am going to do with it!

I got an AOL box in the mail that sort of looks like a clear plastic DVD box. Is that what you are talking about? It has a hinged thing inside and in the middle to hold the disc. I saved it too, but I dont know what to do with it yet!

I put homemade dvds in mine, but decorating them is an idea too. I have been saving all kinds of stuff to alter, mini-Altoid tins, metal cd boxes, those plastic boxes that eyelets come in that swing open.

It also just occurred to me that those spindles you get blank cds on would be great for storing rolls of ribbon on. I've been trying to think of a use for those.

Oh no!!! Now you've added yet another thing I need to save for "some day." My DD called me and wanted me to go down to the recycling center and dig in their bin for 1 gallon detergent bottles because she is making suits of armor for her Cub Scout Den for their Blue and Gold skit. DH is afraid of what else I might find to drag home. Sandy

The box is wood. It's about the size of a DVD box. This is the 2nd one I have received from them. I have no idea what I will do with it (or the first one that I saved! LOL) but I just couldn't throw it away.
