TIP for those foam cutting pads that you use to cut on. To make them last longer and prevent CUTTING all the way thru them. Take a piece of cardboard, like that that comes with paper at the lss, and glue it on the back of your pad. It prolongs the life of your pad greatly and thus saves money on buying new oes. I know the are inexpensive, but heck that is money I use to buy paper (of course!!!) :)

I have the Friskers Shape Cutters and my mother has the Coluzzles stuff, and well I personally like them both. I like the Fiskars one even though it takes some time to get used to. But the Coluzzle is alot easier to get used to. But you do have to use it with the Coluzzle knife. It swivels and is just big enough to not go threw the matt. Now also They have redesigned the Shape cutter cutting tool, and I have yet to get that, but its alot easier to hold and use to cut. But I Still have the first one they came out with. I use the templates for other things other than the cutter, and I would say I got my money worth. We haven't had any trouble with the mats cutting threw, nor have I had any problems with the templates cutting or breaking. I would think they would be pretty hard to cut threw since they are a durable plastic. But hey sh!* happens~!
