welcome!! oh man.. beaches are fun... depends on what supplies you have.. I've seen simple layouts with torn edges chalked to look like sand dunes to ladies putting real shells under crystal laquer...

Welcome to a really fun newsgroup. I am organizing for my Hawaii album, went to several beaches, only sure that I want to try and make shaker windows with sand from each.

A couple of links-scroll down to find the beach ones amongst the others.

Hi and welcome to the group. I saw a gal on the SB show do a beach layout with real sand. She ran a die of waves through a xyron machine to get sticky on the back and then stuck the sand on.

I was at a crop a couple fo weeks ago and another lady had done a page of the beach - she had cut page protectors into sand dune shaped pockets and filled them with sand - taped them closed somehow and used them to embellish the page - it looked fantastic - I have no idea how exactly she did it. Everyone was commenting.

You could make a shaker box with sand in it and a couple fo little shells? I just simply bought sand effect paper from my LSS and embellished with die cuts and stickers of crabs, bucket and spade, sand castle etc.

Welcome to the newsgroup - you are sure to get a lot of help and support here!!!

WELCOME TO THE GROUP and as for the beach.. anything goes.. I try and take elements from the pictures and use them or things like them as embellishments... sand, shells, buttons, rope, twine, stickers, shaker boxes... anything you can dream of.. but most of all.. dont over think it and HAVE FUN

Hey there Karlie, welcome to RCS! I've only done one beach page so far. I have some great pics, but I'm too intimidated to scrap them. I just don't think I can do them justice. Does anyone else have this problem w/ any pics? Good luck w/ yours Karlie.
