I went LSS shopping yesterday :-)

I filled up my punch tag at the LSS and just had to go in for my $15 in free stuff. I kinda had to pay $19 and something though. *hangs head in shame* The good news is that I got some more punches on my current tag. LOL

But I did some shopping for a contribution for the Embellishment Box, so it's not all mine. That counts for something, right? LOL The LSS did go to CHA, but haven't received any of the new stuff yet. Rats! I was hoping they had. Oh well....just another reason to go back next week.

I bought:

2 more packages of the button brads, red and black (going in the embellishment box) 3 packages of Fastenator bars....it dawned on me that those are embellishments, so some of each will go in the box a package of mini paper clips, mettalic colors...they're so cute! (going in the embellishment box) 3 packages of Phrase Cafe epoxy stickers, Mom, Dad & Home themes (those are mine...all mine LOL)

I also picked up another package of the fiber cards yesterday. Can never have too many of those, right?

I was good though, I avoided paper. I looked at paper that jumped at me, but I resisted buying paper. It was hard, though. The paper floozy in me was wimpering and whining for paper. LOL I saw a line called "Fancy Pants" I don't know if hadn't paid attention to them yet, or what. But it was so cool!! That distressed look, the colors,....all so yummy. And I FINALLY found a line from K&Co that I like! It's called "Kazoo Kids". The LSS had a little firetruck album kit, 100 pieces (or more) that I was very tempted to get, but again...I resisted. These would look so cute with black and white photos of DS. Here's a link to the Kazoo Kids on K&Co.

I also found some glittered chipboard letters. Actually, I saw 2 different brands. The first one was K&Co, I think, but I can't remember diddly-squat this week. It was a box of glittered chipboard letters, LOTS of letters. The box reminded me of the boxes you see 6 x 6 albums in, had a clear plastic top. The letters were a really cool font, glittered on both sides. There were 3 or 4 colors to choose from. Since they were glittered on both sides, you really couldn't tell they were chipboard, which I liked. Priced $10 and something, if I remember right. The second brand came in a smaller package, and don't even ask me who made it. LOL The font was a plain block font, less letters in a carded package than the boxes, and glittered on one side. You could tell they were chipboard just by looking at them, and they really were pretty boring due to the block font. Price $3 or $4 if I remember right, but there was way less letters than the boxes. I honestly liked the boxes of glittered letters better. I also saw some blue/white patterned pet paper, and matching ribbon to go with it. Again, I resisted! And oh my gosh! They had 3 different quote books!!! Tons of quotes, tabbed sections, 3 different volumes. What more could a quote floozy ask for? Then I noticed there wasn't a CD like the quote books Hobby Lobby carries. So I just might have to get the quote books from Hobby Lobby first, then compare those quotes to the quotes in the LSS quote books. If the quote books at the LSS have different quotes than the Hobby Lobby books, then..well....I know 3 more books that I would like on my shelf. LOL

Geesh, I'm such a floozy!

just an FYI, the K&Co twinkle letters: the glitter comes off and it gets everywhere and is a pain to clean up. LiL' Davis makes some that are wonderful and i think cheaper too! their glitter stays on.

Thanks for the heads up on the twinkle letters! I'll leave them at the LSS then. There's enough of a mess around my craft area without the help of glitter. LOL
