Look in my "Swaps" album. I got this page and a recipe page done yesterday for Jessie's birthday album. I didn't put the recipe page up as it's for a current swap in progress. Jacqui I'm going to mail both pages to M-C just to save time and so the post office doesn't get a double dip on postage from you and me.

The picture I used on my swap is one my daughter took over a year ago. I was busy scrapping a baby album for a friend and didn't really want to be interupted, BUT you know when your child wants something sometimes you just smile and comply. She wanted to take my picture and I really didn't feel I looked good or had the time, but I did a cheesy smile any ways. It turned out to be one of my favorite pictures. Not that I'm looking that great, but I'm having a good time making a album for a baby and a friend surrounded by all my favorite toys. So, I thought the picture would be a good one for Jessie's page.

Haven't replied to alot of things. I better get caught up but I took a look at your page and that is just AWESOME!!! You've done a great job and Jessie will love it! Thanks for sharing.

That's a lovely page Lynne, really good job! TFS. luv Cec...xxx

I keep getting 'the document contains no data' on webshots today :(

She is going to love the layout, Lynne! I'll be looking for it!

Please all of you sending me pages, make sure that you write DO NOT FOLD in huge letters all over your envelope! I have a small mailbox and they try to shove everything in it no matter what the size and I'd hate for your beautiful pages to be crunched up!

It's a wonderful LO Lynne! Jessie's going to love this album.

I love your page Lynne...you did a great job and I love the colours you used for the page. Liked the picture you used and we can see all your toys....yeah!!! I take it we will get the opportunity to see the other page when the swap is completed. I have a feeling Jessie's album will look awesome when it is put together!

Love the page Lynne. The picture is great, your daughter is quite the photographer.

Great LO Lynne. You inspired me to create a LO of myself to also send to Jessie. I had done one of a meet between myself and Dave. When I saw your photo I remembered one I had I really liked of myself (and that's rare) at a crop with all of my scrappy stuff around me. So I created another LO to send. As soon as the crystal effects dries I will post it. Thanks for sharing and inspiring, Sandy

Hey I've been using Criystal Effects this week. I bought it years ago and can never find it when I want to use it. Almost bought another bottle last fall, but forgot too. hahaha. Just as well I found mine in December and put the bottle in my drawer for adhesives and when I wanted it the other night.... there it was! YEAH! I sure love the effect you get from it.

When I really want something to stick tight - like some of the jewelry pieces I used on my sister's paint can I use crystal effects as the adhesive. I really like the effect too. Sandy

That picture looks great and are SO appropriate Lynne. I love the warm colours you used and the font. It works wonderfully together. Beautiful journaling once again! TFS

Thank you everyone for your wonderful compliments and for looking at my LO. This one just came together. Most of my LO's take a lot of thinking for me. This one fell together when I was thinking about "My scrappy friend Jessie." I got to thinking scrappy has more than one meaning and they all stand for Jessie. I've been wanting to do a LO with dictionary definitions for a long time. I see the sheets of dictionary definitions at the scrapbook stores and just love the look. I always leave them there thinking I can make my own at home, but I never have. This was a perfect time to try out that technique. Plus I had just purchased for myself in the new year a small stapler and some colored staples to use on LO's (with my 40% off Michael's coupon of course). I had fun attaching ribbon to the LO with the stapler to add little bits of color zing here and there..
