~ Mesh advice ~

I have a confession to make.

I have never used mesh.

Today it was going to be the day, but I just had DH showed me what we had in the garage and it doesn't look aything like what I had in mind.

I believe I read in here that instead of buying mesh at the LSS, you could just use this tape (paint, construction, don't remember what kind it is). It was cheaper this way.

Now I have to go to HD and get some mesh, but I know from the face DH made when I said that word, that is not the real name of it. SO, where can I get it and what is it called?

Is my LSS my only option for buying mesh?

TIA.

P.S. I hope this msg makes sense.

Drywall tape...I was told not to use the self-adhesive kind...oops too late! NEways, it's been about six months or so and my layout still looks fine. Others have told me that the self-adhesive kind will warp after a while...not sure myself, but will take the advice of those that learned the hard way. Am keeping my self-adhesive kind for cards now!
