Michaels coupon

HEY there is a coupon in my paper this time for Michaels. Guess where I am headed right now!!?? I just can't decide what I want to buy!! I'm thinking that stamp of the date kit MM has. I have seen little vellum tags stamped with it, and I love the way that looks. Off to shop, Denise

The ads *usually* come out every Sunday--either as a separate color supplement or a small b&w ad (in my paper in the front page section). Every once in a while, they skip a Sunday.

I found my coupon as a little black and white ad within the front section of today (Sunday's) paper. I did get the date stamp set! I bought some other stuff too, because I went to my husband's brother's wedding yesterday. Gotta go... gotta scrap! star2fire

I went to Michael's with my coupon-and my hubby yesterday! He was feeling guilty about leaving me home all day Saturday and unable to use my coupon for last week, so he made a point to take me there yesterday. I wanted the wire writer, and couldn't find it, so I gave up and was heading to the check-out--he stopped me. He had gone to customer service to ask about it and he found it! I actually got a whole kit with the writer, twister thingies (technical term) and some wire, also the round tipped needle nose pliers--for $25--I paid $15 with my coupon--the wire writer alone is $13! I got a great deal thanks to my DH! Also, my Michaels now has TONS of stuff! They've gotten in eyelets, brads, 3D embellishments, fibers, charms, everything. I'm so impressed. I think they expanded their line because we now have a LSS, where before they were the only gig in town. YEAH for my town! Had to share, now I need to go play with my wire and figure out how to do cool stuff!

Christina, I just bought one of those kits last night, too!! I was looking to see if they had any new things in the scrapbook section at Walmart and over by the beads and jewelry stuff, they had that entire kit. Mine was $20 so you got a better deal! Like you, I can't wait to play with mine!!

The ads slow down in the summer time, sometimes they will skip two, sometimes three weeks in a row...in late fall and throughout winter, and first part of spring, you can expect them every week though, color flier or printing in the paper!

What are HALOS?

HALOS is a system for using unmounted rubber stamps. You have acrylic blocks, mounted with the "hook" part of the industrial grade velcro, and you attach the "loop" part to your "dies" (the rubber of the stamps)...then you can arrange them any way you like...

check it out here:

Sounds great. Now only if I could have gotten HALOS 40% off at Michael's I would really have it made! star2fire
