...because they use to be a member and now don't want to be. I'm sure M-C can take care of it now that she is updating the website to reflect the current members.

I see she's on the RCS meetings page. I suppose if we want to keep the picture up we could put the "blue spot" over her face like the do on TV to disguise someone's identity. haha

Maybe Ronni or someone can do a better job of this since Photoshop is not my thing but for now perhaps MC can exchange these pics with the originals.

It is funny...I was basically laughing at myself because I didn't see what she fixed. It took me awhile to *get it*. And, I do that kind of stuff in my daily grind and can usually spot photo edits pretty quickly.

I agree with Karen on this one...others in the photo are presumably happy for their picture to remain online......showing the RCS meets they all freely participated in and enjoyed! I don't feel editing someone out of a group photo is the way to proceed, as it alters the facts of that event. Since there has been a change of heart regarding participation, obscuring the face of that participant should suffice :o)

I have pixelated Shelley's face in both photos and placed them here:

M-C can use them to replace the originals and take out Shelley's name if they fit the bill. I will watch this thread and delete the pics from the web.....once M-C makes her decision known. M-C if you want them sent let me know which email addy :o)

Shelley, I've done as you asked, though I agree that history should not be changed. The pictures that were of you personally I had already removed, but I did not think that history should be re-written and for those of us who met in Orlando that day, it was a joyous occasion, one to be cherished and remembered without besmirching it. I truly hope that life gets better for you soon so that you will be able to see, feel, understand and appreciate the great things that you accomplished while you were a member, and yes a leader, here at RCS. I am quite honestly sad that you feel that you have to eradicate something that gave so many, such great joy, but I have complied with your wishes in the best way I could to meet everyone's needs.

Thanks to all who sent pictures in, I went in a slightly different direction. I am still working on the website, but I have a big crop at my house today. I hope to have the snail mail list out to everyone by Tuesday.

HI. No disrespect but I think after 2 years, the photos are eminent domain at this point.

We don't know shelly but the big blobs (no disrespect MC) look stupid. I like the photos where she was just plain edited out.

My photos are on my High school website and I didn't authorize them but they were in the archives because I had won an award back in 1984.

Lets move on as Shelly has.

I was hopeful that by today Shelley would reconsider and it wouldn't really be necessary to do anything to the photos. Shelley you are a very talented scrapbooker and you contributed so much to this group but for Pete's sake can you please grow up?

At this point, I just want to turn the page and get on with the next scrapbook page. I hope you'll all understand!

Thanks,
