My trip AND TRIP!!!

Well the past few days, well week now or so, has been rather hectic! It is normally the time of the year when we get slow, but we have been busy. I am not complaining in the long run.

I had to work late last Friday to start trying to fix little things for the show that night and on saturday. Then Sat, David and I went and put up his banquet set in a fancy smancy hotel!! I then still had to pick up a truck and leave for the final trip to Houston.

The park in Houston is closed and being sold. the last night was on Sunday. I had contacted Tammy early in the week and she had company in so a chance meeting was out. So goes with many of my trips!!

Monday ALL day was spent trying to get the stuff that belonged to us loaded. You can understand bad help and morale when you know it does not matter in the long run. Oh well I figured, it will all work out.

We got done just in time for rush hour HOuston traffic and a severe storm moving in. UGH!! I knew it was going to be a LONG trip out. HOWEVER :)) as I needed the break from the weather, traffic and really rotten drivers, I found out right along the road all these trips where there was/is a GREAT LSS!!!

So Tammy, YOU really need to go see them :))>

The store is more than great. It ain't the biggest nor the best looking or organized store I have been in, but had a very comprehensible inventory. I was impressed.Anyhow after a good weeks pay, some good pay coming up, I figured I could splurge!! And of course, I know ya'll ain't gonna ask, what did I buy? (hee hee!!) PAPER, oh lovely PAPER, lots and lots of LOVELY PAPER!!! Did I say the store has a GREAT SELECTION of LOVELY PAPER?!! Yippee!!!

AND Tammy, I did not even get into the sale area as I was really pleased with what I already found!! Anyhow as I know inquiring kinds want, uh, NEED to know, I got little over 500 sheets of lovely, pretty PAPER!!!!

The clerks were quite surprised as I only bought a couple ink eyelets too. They said I really liked my paper - LOL!!!

So I am pretty pleased as - well PAPER and had a great trip because of it.

Anyhow I got home at 4 in the morning on Tuesday and had to work all day. i came home and died. So NO DAve.

On Wed we worked really late. I got home on the verge of, well one of my hunger headaches sitting in and i was thru - NO Dave.

So here I am tonight, even though had a 9 hour day too. Got home and because of ya'll in this cotton pickkin' addicting group of yakkity people, I split my attention to YOU from Survivor and Apprentice.

500 sheets of paper!!! I know I would be surprised of someone bought that much paper at one time. Dave is all this paper taking over your house? Do you have any room to walk? Enjoy your paper.

Glad you made it home ok! I was worried about you and the weather. I though Lone Star was pretty cool but it is good to know that someone else agrees. I am a little afraid to go though... I don't have enough room in my scrap room to store 500 more sheets of paper. LOL!

Hopefully you will get some rest and time to enjoy that paper!

This season is interesting! We are a few episodes behind ya all in the states. There's only two left in the one tribe....I thought they would have merged ages ago! I feel kinda sorry for the two. I'm actually an amazing race fan, the two shows replace each other over here. DH is the Survivor fan, but this season is really good and I'm watching it with him!
